No one can deny that saying "I do" in a castle is serious #goals, right from a fairytale dream. Our incredible team took a trip across the pond to explore England, from the stunning countryside to the vibrant streets of London to find the most breathtaking, luxurious wedding venues the country has to offer. Even if you weren’t born a princess or had the luck of scoring a real-life prince (cheers to you, Kate Middleton), you can still feel like a royalty on your wedding day with these extraordinary venues.

Leeds truly earns its name as the "loveliest castle in the world". It left us jaw-dropped from the moment we stepped on property. Its 500 acres include an idyllic castle surrounded by water and luscious gardens. In its 900 years, Leeds Castle has housed six of England’s queens, so it's truly a royal experience. The castle is prepared with full staff to host up to 200 guests, with in-house catering and florists, and even your very own Butler, to make your day seamless. Your guests can retire from the event into one of the 42 luxurious bedrooms or the onsite glamping experience that is one they will remember forever.

It’s no wonder this captivating property earned the title ‘Top Wedding Castle’ at the British Wedding Awards. Built in 1270, Hever was home to Anne Boleyn before she married the King. The property offers three locations for weddings, including the enchanting Italian Garden. The five-star accomodations had us waking up feeling like true royalty. We spent the day boating around the 38 acre lake, surrounded by swans, magical gardens and William Waldorf Astor’s fine collection of Italian sculptures. It was so dreamy, we had to pinch ourselves! To top it all off, fireworks can also be arranged as guests gather on the terrace of The Loggia to watch a spectacular display set to music as the perfect end to your royal wedding.

Nestled in the countryside, Seckford is a venue fit for a King and Queen! The majestic property will transport you into the Tudor age, complete with a magical lake, gardens and accommodations that will make you forget the rest of the world. The rich history throughout dates back to the 1530s. The staff at Seckford have a passion for making each wedding unique, and right out of a fairy tale. We spent the day being pampered at the award winning Seckford Spa, where we imagined every bride having pre-wedding pampering. And a trip to England is never complete without a proper afternoon tea. We were WOWed by the delicious flavors and high-quality, locally produced ingredients the professional chefs used to create a meal that would impress the toughest critic. Seckford has all aspects covered for a perfect wedding day.

Long known as the "wedding cake" hotel for its opulent and romantic spaces, London’s iconic St Ermin’s Hotel is a location as memorable as your special day. The lush, tree-lined courtyard garden transformed us out of the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city, and into a space of luxury. From the moment we stepped inside, the grandiose white marble reception area had us feeling like a princess. With regal accommodations and a staff that will meet your every wish, a wedding at St. Ermin’s will ensure the royal treatment for you and your guests. The stunning Crystal Ballroom, originally designed by famous theatre designer J.P. Briggs, is a listed masterpiece and one of the most romantic and eye-catching backdrops in London with white rococo plasterwork, evocative curving balustrades and sensational chandeliers.

This quintessentially British property boasts iconic views of the city. As our first stop after a long flight, the County Hall Hotel transformed us into a proper British setting, and did not disappoint with lavish accommodations that brought the city highlights right to our window. The incredible riverside location offers views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament for a truly compelling experience. The property was built over 100 years ago to house London’s government and now features beautifully restored parquet flooring, elegantly high ceilings, ornate cornicing, original sash windows, and oak panelling that tell one story: that of distinguished heritage as a place where great minds met. It is a seamless blend of historic charm and thoughtful, modern convenience that sets London Marriott Hotel County Hall apart, both as a hotel and an event destination.
